I served as an assistant principal at Belding Elementary School for 7 years. While at Belding, a thriving and diverse neighborhood school, located in the Old Irving Park neighborhood, I worked with Principal Yutzy and the Belding team to be recognized as an exemplary supportive school with a high level of social and emotional supports (SEL is my passion) and supported Belding in achieving IB programming and level 1+ school rating status. Being intentional about curriculum was key! Ask me about curriculum lessons learned as I transitioned from Belding as an AP to being a principal.
