Hi, my name is Joy Blake, an educator with technology at the forefront. I am a Math Curriculum Designer for Chicago Public Schools. Prior to this position, I worked as an Instructional Technology Specialist, STEM Coach as well as an upper elementary Math and Science teacher for over 15 years. I have a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. I am a Google Certified Trainer as well as an Apple Teacher,Pear Deck Certified Coach, and Screencastify Certified Coach.
I love technology and my goal is to make technology accessible for all. If you come to one of my professional development sessions, you will find a place filled with laughter, focus, creativity, collaboration and community.
I have presented at the following conferences: ISTE LIVE, IDEACon, TCEA, Googlepalooza, NMDLC, Teach Tech, Learning with Innovative Technology Conference, SPARCC, NeoTech and many more. I also have done edtech focused webinars for AppsEvents, Google for Education, Educator Alexander Consulting, Academic Achievement Institute, and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.
