Sharon Ponder-Ballard teaches Performing Arts through a Social Emotional and Culturally Responsive Lens at Carter School of Excellence Chicago.  She is a Golden Apple Award Recipient ,Yale National Teaching Fellow and Nationally Board Certified. She enjoys watching movies and traveling with her husband and considers herself an international foodie. Sharon is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.
