My name is Shimera Thomas- Slater I am a Family Engagement Coordinator for OECE. I've been working with Office of Early Childhood over 14yrs.  I am very passionate about providing guided supports for our families based on their identified needs. I would say I'm a strategic thought partner especially when it comes providing authentic suggestions and resources related to the work field. Stakeholders can talk to me about supporting them in creating a Family Engagement plan. With an shared platform of the FE rubric, Family needs Assessment, and CWIP/MTSS-SEL , I also support senior leaders with guided and holistic supports to families in collaboration of establishing community partnerships.
