I have been a teacher for 25 years, all of those in CPS.  I am the library media specialist at Lorca Elementary in the Logan Square/Avondale neighborhoods. It took me a while to figure out that libraries are my true calling, so I have also taught high school world studies and US history, and seventh and eighth grade reading and social studies.  I am very excited to collaborate with colleagues at my reading identities presentation August 11th!
