Looking for ways to tap into the our students world of communication. How about communicating with parents and staff the same way. Today our students are hyper-connected and use social media-like video tools for self-expression. Let's harness the power of using these skills to give our students a voice creating video journals, interacting with peers, supporting growth in digital citizenship, creating current event news clips, daily SEL check-in, video book reviews, explanation of math/science reasoning etc. using an incredible video platform called FLIPGRID. FLIPGRID is where your students go to view your topics, record their responses and reply to their classmates. It provides an easy way for students to watch other student videos; self reflect, learn from each other, and compare their learning with that of their peers. Administrators can use this platform to communicate as well creating video updates of school events, newsletters or to get feedback from staff or parents. Join us in transforming your audience into being more effective communicators using digital tools, you will leave ready to engage.
