CS First (g.co/csfirst) is Google's free, introductory computer science curriculum designed for students in 4th to 8th grade. In this interactive session, attendees will learn about CS First’s offerings and will have an opportunity to discuss strategies to use CS First with your students, even if your learning environment may not be what you’re used to in the fall. You’ll have a chance to brainstorm and share creative and innovative ways to bring CS into your classroom.

CS First activities teach students the basics of block-based coding with Scratch and introduce students to core computer science concepts. From in-person classrooms to after-school programs to home living rooms and everything in between, CS First has been used across all types of learning environments. That’s thanks to educators like you! This session is geared towards teachers who are new to CS First.
