Earsketch is a web based software tool that has over 4000 different beats that you and your students can use to create awesome songs through code. Use Python or Java, blocks or text based coding, Earsketch offers them all. Earsketch is a great tool for many levels of students, but primarily middle schoolers and high schoolers. The block based coding does allow you some flexibility with students in younger grades though. Earsketch's built-in curriculum is free and makes it easy to learn. In this session, we'll introduce you to the software and all it has to offer and we'll get you started on making that next top 40 hit!
