Attendees will learn the key tenets of School Culture and explore practical ways to build and maintain a school culture that values excellence, collaboration, and student achievement. Ike and Katie will also share ways to create engaging experiences for students. Ike Ramos is a Hip Hop artist and dedicated educational leader, having served as a principal, grades K-12. Katie Pecoulas is a former teacher in Chicago and dedicated to educational equity. Ike is currently a Director and Recording Artist at Nearpod + Flocabulary, where he continues to support education by empowering staff and engaging students through his work. Katie is a partnership manager at Nearpod + Flocabulary and supports schools across CPS.
