In this session, attendees will learn about the key tenets of culturally responsive teaching, and how CRT can be implemented across various learning models: in-person, remote, and hybrid. Attendees will define “culture”, begin mastering their own authentic story, and explore practical strategies for ensuring that all students benefit from culturally responsive teaching. Presenters Ike Ramos and Katie Pecoulas currently work at Nearpod + Flocabulary and are former teachers and school administrators in large urban cities.
