Good Day,
My name is Candance Smith. I love working with kids. I love inspiring learning, and I love the results. I look forward to seeing my students understand the subjects I’m teaching.
I have been teaching kindergarten for the past 2 school years. I enjoy working with the little scholars. In my kindergarten position, I am the grade level chairperson. I organize PLC meetings, create the material needed for our scholars. I lead in grade-level expectations. I develop common core standards within the kindergarten curriculum in addition to personal educational techniques. I am very comfortable with positive behavior intervention and supports for scholars that have exceptional needs.
I currently attending Indiana University Northwest in Gary, IN special education master’s degree in education. I graduated from Calumet College of St. Joseph with a master’s degree in management. My GPA was a 3.4 of 4.0. My degree has taught me strategic planning, project management, organizational behavior, and many more subjects. I would like to utilize my skills in the classroom.
